I had my top 2 front teeth and the bottom 3 directly underneath bonded due to breakage and damage. The bonding extends the bottom teeth slightly to the height they should have been - they were very worn with exposed pulp. The dentist said to expect my molars not to meet but this should resolve in approx 6 weeks when they readjust and settle. Is this true? I didnt think molars grew in height so how will the gap resolve? Eating is awkward at the moment and Im very anxious about it.
I have developed some enamel erosion along the gumline of my upper teeth, likely due to aggressive brushing over the years. I have corrected this and otherwise my oral is health is good with regular check-ups and cleanings. I am pretty self conscious about it since it is visible. I was considering bonding to improve the look, but am concerned about what this does to the teeth long term since it has to be redone occasionally, and I don't want to harm the enamel unnecessarily.
I had 4 teeth composite edge bonded. I didnt like it as it made my teeth look crooked. The dentist then buffed off the length of my front teeth again I look terrible! My question is how long do I have to wait to get it done again by another provider?
When talking through the procedure I asked her to keep it subtle so the teeth would look natural. When we were finished, immediately I didnt like them, they looked very big and unnatural. My friends have made comments such as they are creepy etc which in all honestly I agree with. Can anyone advise if composite bonding could be done on my teeth in a natural way? (Not too fussed with the gaps, as long as they looked neater) Should I ask for it to be removed and try Invisalign instead
I have a wisdom tooth which is positioned in a mesial impaction way. This leaves a small gap which covers the rest of the wisdom tooth meaning I need to brush this area at an angle to clean it properly. I do not have a problem with this but due to food getting stuck during the day I would like to get this gap filled as this is still a hard area to access completely. I would like to find out what options I have that could fill this area, including bonding or any other suggestions on this issue.
Ive had this gap my entire life but recently decided enough is enough and I want to get it fixed! I would be happy to close the gap completely or just mostly, as I know my gap is large and the process might be demanding Im not sure if dental bonding could work? Im hoping for a fast/cheap procedure, which is why I was banking on bonding. Ive never had braces or a retainer, since the rest of my teeth have alway been fine where they are.
I had my braces off the other day and Im still unhappy with my smile. They are very straight, however, I hate how my back teeth disappear and I can only see a few teeth when I smile. Id love to have a wider smile or a full set. My dentist said this wasnt achieveable with braces as there wasnt enough room in my mouth. What my options? Composite bonding, partial dentures or anything else? I would still be required to wear retainers due to having braces.
