I am 61 years old and had a breast lift and implants eight years ago. Since then, I had some medical issues that were non-related. I gained alot of weight being sedentary During this time frame. I have since lost the weight, however, the upper pole of my breast have definitely fallen as a result. I don’t necessarily want a breast lift again. Is it possible to put some type of stitch or tack in in the upper pole to hold the breast up?
Answer: Stitch or Tack I would recommend a revision breast lift with a lateral bra line/back lift as well to address the excess skin on the sides. I would recommend seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon with experience/adequate training in breast surgery.

Answer: A breast lift ad power pole support will help Hi looks like the best treatment may be a breast lift with the addition of lower pole support with a mesh. There are some surgeons or medical providers who make promises using thread lifts and some noninvasive treatments but these will probably no provide the result you are looking for and at the most may offer some temporary improvement.

Answer: 8 years since breast lift, are there any alternatives to a revision that can help hold my breast up? Based on the posted photos it appears that you would benefit from a revision extended mastopexy/lift, which may include implant removal and replacement with smaller implants. I suggest that you seek an experienced Board Certified PS

Answer: Breasts No, one stitch will not hold up your breasts. However, a lift can relift your breasts. If you want more fullness, you can add fat of implants.

Answer: 8 years since breast lift, are there any alternatives to a revision that can help hold my breast up? Hello @lorenruby, thank you for your question. Right now I'm not aware of any alternatives to a revision when it comes to to get the results you want. The combination of age, gravity and any weight gain or loss can have an effect on how the breast looks over time. In order to maintain good upper pole projection in the long-term, a breast lift is necessary. A breast lift is a procedure which removes excess skin and reshapes the breasts for better projection and contouring. It can help reduce sagging and restore some youthful volume to your breasts but should be performed by an experienced plastic surgeon with knowledge about anatomy and different techniques used in this particular kind of surgery. i always perform a breast lif with BRALift technique. I link a video to shed more light. The ultimate determination of the most appropriate procedure should be made in consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you and determine a surgical plan according to your needs. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.
