I am 4wpo from arm lipo. My compression sleeve garment was way too tight which I wore for 10 days. Did that delay my recovery?

Should the measurement for the compression sleeves be taken pre or post-op? I wore the compression sleeves for 10 days. My arms throbbed every second they were on. I bought a different garment and removed the original sleeves. I see him again on February 23rd. I cannot sleep with my arms down. I can't do much of anything before I feel the swelling, arms aching and must be elevated. I need to know if wearing the too tight sleeves has caused additional problems or delayed my recovery? Thank you.
