I dont mind the alignment problem, that is for now. But i would love it if my 2 front teeth were in a straight line. Can i contour my front teeth, which is higher to look like my other front teeth?
Answer: Smile designing yes, that is possible with intentional root canal treatment and veneers. But it's not advisable. It's my advice to go for aligners, you will get results very fast without compromising your healthy tooth structure.

Answer: Front teeth In order to contour the front teeth, you will need to remove healthy tooth structure. If you bond these teeth to mask the alignment problem, you will also be making a commitment to fix the bonding if it ever discolors or becomes chipped. It is better for you in the long run to straighten the teeth out with Orthodontic treatment and to place them in the proper position. Preserving your natural tooth structure is always the best option! I would see your Orthodontist for a consult to discuss your options - braces vs. Invisalign.

Answer: It is difficult to diagnose from the quality of the photo I will try my best to answer the question. I do not think that contouring the teeth will give you a very aesthetic result. Your best treatment option is to straighten the teeth with Invisalign, lingual braces or regular braces. If you are looking for something more immediate, I recommend veneers on the front six teeth rather than just trying to recontour the single tooth. Sometimes it can be difficult to match a single tooth although materials are a lot better now. I do not recommend cutting down beautiful healthy teeth when they can be saved and straightened. In the end, it's what you want your end result to look like. I think it is important to consult with a cosmetic dentist, prosthodontist and and orthodontist before you make your final decision. Good luck!Kind regards,Dr. Jennifer Stachel
