Dr. Marra is amazing (5 STARS). Love Nicole as well! Agree with review below that Tabitha is very rude, and is great at fabricating stories to the doctor. Unfortunately because of her lies our family has been "fired" from his practice. It would be wise for the doctor to have a conversation with his patient(s) to validate what transpired. Thanks Tabitha- kudos for being a terrible human!
I called the office to get more information regarding dental implants, all on 4's and the material used. After speaking with 6 or more other offices today who were all very informative and helpful I reached Tabitha at Dr. Marra's office who could not provide any information and was very rude. I am very hesitant to recommend this practice if that is how you are treated during the initial contact.
The longer you wait the more money it will cost to fix your issue. For anyone that is a patient, including any dentist or physician that is a patient, cost is always a question when having a procedure done. When I have to have treatment done (knee surgery, chiropractor visit), whatever it is cost is something we all question. What I have learned as a oral health care provider is the longer you go without treating an issue the more expensive it becomes. You should visit your oral health care provider soon than later. Treatment options (just from looking at the picture) 1. Worse case scenario, most expensive up front cost : the tooth would need to be extracted and an implant placed. This will actually save you money long term.2. If it is even possible at this point, a root canal, core, and crown. Be prepped to spend at least $2000.00. It could be more or less depending on the area that you live in. Community health/ dental clinics usually are less expensive or visiting a dental school (if there is one close to where you live) will help reduce the cost. Either way the bigger issue might be what you are drinking on a daily basis. You don't want this to happen to other teeth in your mouth because then you will have an even bigger issue. Visit your oral health care provider and see what treatment would work best for you.
Re-contouring your tooth or adding composite to health teeth will not correct the bigger issue which is malocclusion. The best way to fix the issue from the picture provided would be having a consult with an orthodontist. Yes, everyone hates braces, but braces are actually the best thing for fixing maligned teeth. It is also the cheapest way to correct your issue long term. Most orthodontic consultations are free. You should visit your oral health care provider and find out what treatment options are available. Also which one of the treatment options would be best for you long term.
Depending on how bad the stain is, whitening treatment would be the least invasive procedure. If that wouldn't work veneers are a possibility. Dental lab quality has advanced over the years and depending on your smile line you might only have to get two veneers. Visit you oral health care professional to seek information on the treatment that would work best for you personally. There are many treatment options but finding the best treatment for you is the key.
