Can I remove my power chains?

Hi!I definitely would not remove the power chains as the chain is most likely what is holding the wire in place.  I would recommend finding an orthodontist in your area that would change them for you.  Hopefully, you can find an orthodontist that my take over your case so you continue with proper care.  It is unhealthy for your teeth to leave braces on for too long.  I wish you all the best with your orthodontic treatment and achieving a fantastic smile!Warm regards,Dr. Jenn

Please do not remove your power chains. I understand that it is not a perfect situation and they are ugly. If you don't have an appointment scheduled in the near future removing the power chains will cause you to relapse. This will lead to longer treatment time and possibly additional expense for your parents.
