I'm suffering from gynecomastia from my puberty when I was 15 years old. Now I'm 30. Is it possible to reduce gynecomastia taking pills like Nolvadex 10/20mg? Or Surgery is my only option? As I was once a pleumonic tuberculosis patient when I was 24 years I am afraid of doing such surgeries as anasthesia can damage my lungs. I'm completely cured from tuberculosis after 6 months complete medication still i'm afraid of surgery.
Answer: Surgery only treatment option I wish that there was a pill that could treat gynecomastia, but, alas, there is not. Your only option is surgery. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to assess the risks and decide whether or not it is worth it for you. Best of luck.

Answer: Gynecomastia surgery Thanks for your question, suvashis deka. Unfortunately, if your gynecomastia is caused by glandular tissues and not just fat, the only option you have to decrease your breast size is to undergo gynecomastia surgery or male breast reduction. As far as I know, your previous tuberculosis does not make you a bad candidate for surgery. The best thing to do is to go to a reputable and board-certified plastic surgeon for a physical evaluation so that he can recommend personalized solutions to you. I offer free initial consultations, which you can schedule on my website if you want. Best of luck!
