Fat transfer with PRP?

Question

I'm going in for my second fat transfer to face. I asked the doctor to treat my pitted scars. He said he would do a nano fat transfer, that will somewhat address the issue. I also asked to combine fat transfer with prp.q but he is saying Nano is superior to prp. Pl advice

Good question! I love combining the use of PRP with fat injections. We use the ALMI procedure to harvest fay and use your body’s own cells to stimulate deep regeneration of tissues and the important biologic elements that “reverse” aging like collagen, hyaluronic acid and capillaries. Your fat cells then work to generate fullness, most often to plump sunken, drawn cheeks and aging hands. We often combine platelet-rich plasma in conjunction to add more stimulate your tissue to form more blood vessels, collagen and elastin, hyaluronic acid, fatty tissue, and the matrix that holds cells together and thickens the skin. We don’t want any of this good stuff to go to waste! Adding PRP to fat transferring is just the icing on the cake!

Fat grafting results in our experience, and supported in the literature, can be enhanced with platelet rich plasma (PRP).  For treating superficial issues such as acne scars or skin atrophy, fat grafts can be emulsified or broken down to fine particle size which then allows injection of these 'nanofat' particles along with PRP directly into the skin where the effect is thought to be more significant.  There is some evidence that this process may result in more of a 'stem cell' effect which can repair, restore and rejuvenate scar or atrophy of the skin.
