Why do some people with poor orbital bones have tear troughs while others have eye bags?

I have eyebags due to recessed infraorbitals, but many people on the internet with recessed orbitals have no eyebags and instead their lower eyelid skin seems to dip into the face making tear troughs. What causes this?

Yes it can partially improve that but it is important to do lower blepharoplasty with eye fat bags repositioning and not removal. See an expert.

A lower blepharoplasty is not the solution because you don’t have any bulging fat. A filler injection is your best solution.

You appear to have a trace amount of eyelid ptosis. This can cause the eyes to look asymmetric. This can often be improved by tightening the muscle to raise the lid. Best to see an eyelid expert in your area.
