I have many laser procedures to improve the integrity of my skin underneath my chin. I finally decided to get a lower facelift and neck lift to resolve this once and for all. My surgeon also performed chin Lipo. One year later I was left with loose skin underneath my chin. My doctor felt there was still too much fat and wanted to do a revision with more chin Lipo. This is how it looks five weeks later. Please help me.
Answer: Morpheus8 can help tighten the skin and help production of collagen to smooth out texture. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Chin I would highly recommend against any more liposuction. There is excess skin and inadequate subcutaneous fat. This is a common problem that I see. More liposuction will only make this problem worse. I recommend a revisionary facelift/necklift. I recommend finding a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Ideally, one with experience in facial aesthetic surgery.

Answer: Chin crease and loose skin I don't think that you would benefit from any further liposuction. In fact, the midline loose skin below your chin crease may benefit from fat grafting. The chin crease area can be improved with a pedicled transfer of subplatysmal fat if this fat was not resected from the necklift. The operative report would give a lot helpful information.

Answer: What can I do to improve my skin under my chin? Much more information is needed, such as a full set of face and neck photos in a chin neutral position from all angles, in addition to a copy of the operative report to find out specifically what was performed in your first facelift procedure. Also important to know if he had any significant weight loss history, in addition to your current age.

Answer: Understanding the outcome To have a clear understanding of the outcome of any plastic surgery procedure we generally need to see a complete set of proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before and after pictures, then ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took. It looks to me like the problem was created from poorly down the post section in the first place. I’m not at all sold that further Liposuction is going to improve your outcome. it would be very important to know if you had any other surgeries before the facelift. Especially any previous attempts at Liposuction. Even though there is one single area that is of concern, you should include a complete set of before, and after pictures showing the outcome of the facelift in order for us to have a good context. That would include frontal and profile pictures as well. Before we can give you any useful recommendations, we need better information. Especially what you look like before the procedure. If this is the outcome of your facelift, then you probably need another doctor to do your revision work. At a minimum schedule, multiple in person, consultations with other plastic surgeons, who have extensive facelift experience and also those who seem to have exceptional Liposuction background with proven high-quality Chin neck Liposuction results. How many facelift before and after pictures did your provider show you during your in person consultation? Correcting this out, may be quite challenging. Going in to do more Liposuction, especially if the problem was done by poor Liposuction technique, could make things worseBest, Mats Hagstrom MD
