So i have a recessed jaw, an overbite. The core problems likely require a lot of surger and money that i dont have yet. Ive had some filler in my chin (3ml) which improved it a bit, but i still have a double chin despite not being overweight. Im 64-66kgs and 170cm. Im really insecure about my jawline and chin, and I dont want to lose a lot of weight because im already very flat. I was thinking maybe lemon bottlelip moght helpm or more filler?

Answer: Chin and neck related issues I would probably steer you away from having permanent irreversible treatments at this point. Liposuction can help and then some people have a significant impact. Liposuction results are highly dependent on which provider you choose for the procedure, regardless of board, certifications, year of experience, or number of excellent reviews. There are substantial differences in Liposuction skill among various plastic surgeons. You also don’t have that much fat to start with so the procedure is still slightly limited in what it can achieve. The main variable that determines what this part of the face looks like is the mandible or bone structure. if you do opt for having Liposuction be very careful when it comes to selecting providers. To do that I recommend patients have multiple in person, consultations with the provider who’s going to do your procedure. During the consultation ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of previous patients who had similar facial characteristics to your own period This means they had , Il age, similar amounts of fat and similar overall jaw appearance. Poorly done Liposuction can leave people disfigured, and once the procedure is performed the outcome is more or less permanent. To me, your jawline looks fairly good, so I usually like to see a really clear indication for doing surgery before I recommend people move forward. Especially when the procedure is not always easy or straightforward. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
