Hey! I am an 18 year old male im 5'9 and weigh approximately 65kg. I have never been so self concious in my life until now when i realise and start to notice that the people around me have the perfect side profiles and very defined facial structure while im left with a soft lazy face. I also dont like the way my nose and mouth make me look like a monkey from the side. What can i do and need for me to get the face of my dreams?? Please help!?
Answer: Jaw Surgery vs. Genioplasyt/Rhinoplasty Depending on your bite and the alignment of your teeth, you appear be a candidate for jaw surgery. You might consider getting a consultation with a craniomaxillofacial surgeon before making any decisions. If you are strictly seeking a cosmetic procedure, you would definitely benefit from a genioplasty. This would bring your chin forward and slightly down, creating more facial balance and the projection you are looking for. It will also add length and definition to your jawline. The benefit of a genioplasty is that it lasts forever, and the whole procedure is done through the mouth, which means no external scarring. I would say a genioplasty would be the best option for you to achieve your aesthetic goal. A rhinoplasty could reshape your nose to better fit your face and the profile you are looking for. Our office provides morph photo simulations of your expected outcome, so you have a better idea of what the result would look like. We would be happy to schedule a consultation to discuss your options further!

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos you have a disproportionate side face profile. Your chin is very behind and your nose is too big according to these features. For gain more proportional side face, slimmer and elegant nose I recommend you chin implant and rhinoplasty surgery. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best Regards!

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hi there, thank you for your question. You are a great candidate for Rhinoplasty. It would be the best option for you. The desired look can be achieved by narrowing and reshaping the cartilage. In addition, keep in mind that this operation would create a nice change on the entire face. I’d advise you to have a consultation done by a board-certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in Rhinoplasty.

Answer: Rhinoplasty and chin implant for facial harmony. Thank you for your pictures. Your facial features are out of proportion. I recommend you rhinoplasty along with a chin implant. During rhinoplasty surgery, the base of your nose can be narrowed, nostrils and wings can be smaller, projection can be reduced and some cartilage can be removed from the tip to give it more definition while maintaining its masculinity. A chin implant is necessary to help enhance your small and receding chin and add definition and contour to the jawline, profile, and lower part of your face. These surgeries will improve your facial harmony by bringing balance to your nose and chin. Best wishes.

Answer: Orthognatic surgery Thank you for your question and sharing your photographs. As a non-specialist in this field, my impression is that the problem is generated by a slight mismatch of the upper and lower jaw that could be treated by orthognathic surgery. If you are contemplating an intervention also on the nose at the same time, Prof Mirco Raffaini in Italy has experience with combined jaw surgery and no surgery. Otherwise the sequence of treatment tends to be the jaw surgery first and if needed to consider nose surgery, in particular if the shape of the nose has changed significantly after the jaw surgery
