I can hear my breast implants moving. Is this normal?

It is not normal to be able to hear movement of silicone gel implants that have been in place over a year.  Your description of "plastic and water" suggests fluid has collected around the implants.  I would recommend scheduling a follow-up visit with your plastic surgeon (or another board-certified plastic surgeon if you have moved to another city, etc.) who will be able to determine what further evaluation and/or treatment (if any) you may require.Best wishes.

Your concerns are understandable. It's definitely not typical for a woman to be able to hear her breast implants moving around. I'd suggest a visit to your plastic surgeon. He or she will probably order an MRI to check for implant failure or other abnormalities. Good luck.

You should be examined by your plastic surgeon.  You may need an ultrasound if they suspect that you have a seroma and that is what you hear, but only an in person exam and test can determine if an ultrasound is even necessary. Best of luck.
