Vitalize chemical peel after breast augmentation?

Renee. You should be able to undergo chemical peel within the next day or two and it should not affect your  breast augmentation results. However I would first check with your plastic surgeon for doing any form of treatments. Good luck.

Hi.  There is no interaction known between the drugs and your proposed peel.  You should be off the meds however to be able to sign your consent and understand instructions, etc.  Combining recoveries is smart!

Congratulations on your surgery!  There should be no issues with getting a chemical peel while you recover from surgery.  Be sure to first mention it to your surgeon as he/she is most familiar with the details of your surgery and how you've been progressing through recovery.

Hello and thank you for your question. Many of our patients have a chemical peel done at the same time as their breast augmentation. There should be no ill effects with the medication you are on but as always please consult with your surgeon.

Combining recoveries is smart.  Discuss this option with your plastic surgeon.  He knows the medications you are taking, and anything else you will need.  There is no reason to be laid up in bed for a week while recovering from breast augmentation.  You would feel better if you were up and taking some light walks.
