I have to change lots of diapers throughout the day. The kids range from 15-35 pounds. I was able to get 2 weeks of work off, but I can’t do more than that. I want to make sure it’s realistic and not going to cause issues. I change about 20 diapers a day and have to lift them onto a changing table. Thanks for any advice!
Answer: Returning to work after breast augmentation surgery My patients who use their arms a lot like you (nurses, bartenders, police women, hairstylists, etc.) return to work by the 14th day after surgery. Always best to check your surgeon's protocol.Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author

Answer: Back to work 2 weeks after breast augmentation? Best to discuss this with your surgeon. Given the level of activity you describe, I would probably be more comfortable with minimizing all the lifting you do for 3 weeks. Your surgeon, may feel differently, however, based on the techniques he or she use to perform your BA.

Answer: Activities after BA Dear My day will come,The majority of breast augmentation patients need one week of downtime. Depending on the work environment (heavy lifting, etc) more time off may be necessary. Patients are encouraged to walk immediately after surgery to avoid blood clots in the legs. I suggest that you follow your plastic surgeon’s post-operative instructions, especially on the level of activity that you can do and your scheduled follow up checkups, for faster and recovery.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Can I go back to work 2 weeks after breast augmentation? Hello, and thank you for your question. Assuming you have not experienced any complications, you can return to work two weeks after your surgery and begin lifting heavier objects (15 to 20 pounds) four weeks after your surgery. Attempting to do too much too soon can put you at risk of harming your results. Schedule a follow-up appointment with the board-certified plastic surgeon who performed your surgery to discuss post operative guidelines and get his opinion about what activities you can safely perform. Perhaps you could ask a coworker for some help with the parts of your daycare work where lifting is involved, for a few days, when you return to work. Good luck!

Answer: Thank you for your question. There are different techniques for performing a breast enlargement. I use the bloodless breast enlargement technique which I invented. Typically there is no bruising after surgery. It’s not uncommon for patients to be driving two days after surgery and going back to work three days after surgery. Most of the surgeons I operate on are operating on their own patients five days after surgery. You want to avoid lifting heavy objects for three weeks after surgery. I hope you find this information useful. Please watch the enclosed video.
