Can rectus diastasis be repaired in men?

I am a 68 year old male with several health issues heart surgery and COPD being the major ones. My question is can diastasis be corrected through surgery as I do not want to wate a year or more to be well again

I applaud you on trying to fix the diastasis with hard work, but after no result, and especially with a physical therapist helping you, I would agree that an abdominoplasty with repair is probably your only option.
