Hello, I'm wondering if it is possible to get botox injected to the masseter muscles a month prior to getting liposuction to the chin/neck. I am an ideal BMI however I carry a good amount of "genetic fat" in my face/neck :( I am already scheduled to have liposuction of the chin/neck area in about a month, however I was wondering if I get botox to the masseters in the next week or so, if that would affect my liposuction? Thank you!

This may be bruising or a vein that appears more prominent due to swelling of the area in response to the injection. As long as it is not painful or hard, or getting worse, I would give it two weeks to go back to normal.
The botox itself is not painful, but the secondary swelling from your body and the fluid pressure can make it sore until the fluid reabsorbs.
In my experience, time and patients, light massage, and cool compresses will help.
