Ultherapy, what should I do next to remove dark spots and even out my skin texture? (photos)

Im 44 yrs very health conscious with my skin. About 3 weeks ago had my very first facial "Ultherapy". So far satisfy with results, cant wait to return feb 2018 to compare my results. Next on my list are dark spots and even my texture what you suggest?. I prefer a procedure that will last for a year or 2 years, minimizing the maintance every year or 2 yrs. Also what you suggest for youthful hands? Minimize wrinkles in the fingers and knuckles.

Hello and thank you for your question!  Ultherapy was certainly an excellent choice of treatments for a gentle and gradual lift of the skin. Pigmentation and skin texture are typically treated with combination therapy.  Our patients see great results with ResurFx, IPL, microneedling with PRP and also chemical peels.  We have great patient satisfaction with hand rejuvenation by also using combination treatments and fillers for the final results.  I would recommend a consultation with a board certified provider to discuss your desired outcome and better assess your skin for a plan of care that would best work for you.  Our patients are also recommended a medical grade skin care line to continue to health of your skin between treatments.  I hope this information helps and best of luck to you!

Skin texture and pigmentation of the skin, as well as hand rejuvenation can be done using a combination of lasers, chemical peels, and microneedling. For hand rejuvenation you can also add Fillers. A series of treatments will be needed and maintenance is key, especially at home skin care. Make sure you find an experienced provider. Best wishes.

For dark spots and skin tone correction, I recommend a chemical peel; Preferably a Vi Peel.   A chemical peel is a technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the skin. Facial skin is mostly treated, and scarring can be improved. Chemical peels are intended to remove the outermost layers of the skin.  Your face will however, peel for 6 days after the peel has been applied.  
  
Another option for your skin tone correction is Max-G Laser treatments to your areas of hyper-pigmentation. You will need to undergo multiple sessions, however

We see very consistent results with Ultherapy and I'm sure you will see a great benefit on tightening of your skin with time.  For the brown spots, I would recommend BBL along with Clear and Brilliant combo for spectacular results.  If the brown spots are deeper or more resistant, I will spot treat those areas with QS:532 laser or a pico laser.  For hands, Fraxel laser has great results for wrinkling on the fingers and knuckles.  If hands are thinning with tendons very obvious, Radiesse filler adds nice volume.

For the dark spots, I would recommend a medical grade skin care regimen and Sciton BBL. I also think you would love the results of some filler in the cheek area (Voluma) and tear trough (Restylane).
