I went for 1 PRP session and i didn't see any improvement in hair loss at all, what can I do now?

Yes, PRP is effective in treating hair loss. I recommend doing at least 3-6 treatments spaced 6 weeks apart due to follicle growth cycles. We are also having our patients use the "igrow" helmet 30 minutes per day in between treatments. I hope this helps you, be well.Larry Nichter, MD, MS FACS

Thank you for your question. If you are having no discomfort, I don't see a reason for taking a medication for pain. If one is needed, I would recommend acetaminophen (Tylenol). As for antibiotics, while I personally do not use them, this is up to the discretion of the administering physician.I...
