Answer: Asymmetrical crease Eyelid asymmetry of your type is most commonly caused by uneven muscle strength. An incision surgery and an adjustment of the muscle tension will be needed. Generally, both eyes will need to be operated on to maximize the chances of symmetry. Surgery on one eye almost never gives as much symmetry as doing both eyes.

Answer: There is help for you. You need a surgery for this. A very precisely controlled anchor blepharoplasty will achieve what you are looking for. A detailed personal consultation is needed to determine the anatomic basis for your asymmetry and also determine precisely what you are looking for.

Answer: Asymmetrical eyelid crease Your eyelid crease asymmetry can be cosmetically improved. Keep in mind, that following the advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you what to do and technically how to do it without examining you, physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history, and discussing the pros and cons of the proposed operative procedure with you may not be in your best interest. I would suggest you find a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person. Robert Singer, MD FACS La Jolla, California

Answer: Aymmetrical eyelid crease Thank you for your photo. It is possible to improve symmetry between your two eyelids using a conservative blepharoplasty while maintaining your natural eyelid crease. Asian eyelids require different measurements and suture techniques to maintain a dynamic crease. It is best to have an in-office examination to determine the ideal approach to correct your left eye. Hope this helps!Johnson C. Lee, MD Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon IG: @drjohnsonlee
