I suggest seeing an expert but yes I have used fat, sculptra, PRP all to help fullness in breasts. I suggest you see an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.
It is not recommended on the breasts for volume enhancement. The concern is that it will get to firm. Fat is a better option. In the buttocks, Sculptra works great! I agree. It can be used for stretchmarks in the breast area.
The answer is...it depends. Sculptra can be very effective for small volume increases and so if you are looking for a little blending or for volume addition in small areas, then this may be a great option. However, if you are looking for more global volume enhancement then I would agree that Fat Grafting would be a better choice. Either way, best to consult with an experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who specializes in breast surgery to discuss your goals.I hope this helps and wish you the very best!Happy Holidays!-Gregory A Buford MD FACSBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author
Thank you for sharing your question. For patients not interested in implants or fat grafting Sculptra can be used to good effects in the breast. This is especially true for the cleavage area and upper portion of the breasts/chest where rib prominence can occur with age. Hope this helps.
Thank you for your question. Sculptra can be used to volume enhance multiple areas of the body, including the breast. I often combine this with platelet-rich-plastma or fat grafting to further enhance the results. Sculptra is ideal for when you are wanting small to medium degrees of improvement of fullness. Fat grafting is better suited when you are wanting medium to large degrees of enhancement. The most important thing is to find a board certified plastic surgeon who has experience with multiple approaches to your concern so you can truly chose the best option for you.
Dear Mica399:I believe Sculptra is not a good option in this area. Papules and nodules are more likely to form over the sternum, and if they occur in the breasts might raise concern about possible breast cancer and cause unecessary biopsies. Breasts can be lifted with ThermiTight or and enhanced with fat.All the best, Dr. Clark
Thank you for your question. Since you have experience with Sculptra in the form of a butt lift, you are likely aware of its benefits and limitations. Fat transfer is a more ideal option but for those women who do not want to undergo liposuction or have insufficient fat, Sculptra is an option, particularly in the cleavage area. It can be combined with PRP as well to further enhance your results.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
It lasts at least two years and, yes, the studies were stopped at 2 years and the Sculptra was still going strong. However, no one knows how long it really lasts and I tell my patients they need maintenance over time to maintain their results. In my experience, nothing lasts forever, but...
Even though you lost some weight, Sculptra has not been affected. It will still continue to stimulate your skin to produce more collagen, giving you volume and elasticity. However, often when we lose weight, we lose more facial fat than we wanted, so if you lost weight in your face, the amount...
It is hard to say without seeing you in person and feeling the area. It is most likely a vein. Sometimes veins become more prominent after injection but they almost always get better. If this persists, a laser can take care of the vein - a 1064 laser.
