I know it's a common practice to do either manual massage or Zimmer Z-wave right after the end of a Coolsculpting session, as these practices are believed to enhance results significantly, but what about having additional Z-wave treatments a week or two after Coolsculpting? Would additional Z-wave sessions be likely to cause additional fat cells to die? Has there been any research to test out this idea?

Answer: No, don’t think so there are some providers who believe the Z wave helps more than manual massage. There is little if any evidence of a benefit and I see it mostly as a gimmick (20-30,000 massager basically). IMO there is unlikely any benefit at all, with not likely falling to about zero after the first day.

Answer: Z wave is a hoax The z wave treatments are a fancy way to get physicians to buy a unnecessary machine . Their “ sciience “ is based on a single study of 5 individuals . Basically all it showed was these people achieved their final results from Coolsculpting at 6-8 weeks as opposed to 12 weeks . It did not prove or show additional fat reduction than the normal 22.5% that is obtained from Coolsculpting alone. So if there is a need to achieve results at 6 weeks as opposed to 12 weeks, then maybe the z wave is an option , but don’t drink the cool aid thinking it makes results better ( only slightly faster and on 5 people in the study )
