Is it normal to experience a decrease in appetite following a BBL procedure/surgery?

It is not uncommon to have a loss of appetite after surgery .  Is very commonly believed that this could be because of the anesthesia which slows down the digestive tract.  This is usually a temporary situation but it can vary in length from Patient to Patient.  I would follow up with your surgeon  if it continues  for a long time.

General anesthesia often affects people’s appetites, and these effects can linger for days after your surgery. Anesthesia can also temporarily affect your bowel movements and energy levels. Be patient as you recover and stick to soft foods if you have trouble eating. Best of luck.

Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well.It's totally normal to experience that. Everything have to do with it, since the surgery, laying on your stomach, the healing process, your own body reaction, your stomach susceptibility even because of the changes on your hemoglobin levels.I recommend you to communicate with your plastic surgeon to talk about it and to drink lot of water.
