The critical time for healing of the liposuctioned areas and the transferred fat is the first six weeks. Once the initial resorption phase occurs during the first 4 to 6 weeks, the results are permanent. I do not recommend anything strenuous for that first 6 weeks. Swelling in the areas of liposuction takes 6-8 weeks minimum to go down but 6 months to a year to be fully resolved. This one night should not have ruined your results.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

Dear ChannieBaby, based on your photos, you don't need more fat. It looks like you have enough fat which can be transferred. In my opinion, you are a great candidate for a BBL. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Bo...
