Hi doctors. I'm wondering if bbl can be achieved with just Lipo on flanks and bra rolls and without stomach Lipo ? Would it look weird ? yes i am thin but I'm not looking for a huge butt but rather a round bubble butt that fits my frame and a similar waist but without the bulge on the flanks. I'm afraid stomach Lipo would leave lumps or deformities. Thank you in advance!
Answer: Can BBL Be Performed Without Abdomen Lipo Sure, but you will have to realize that the results may not be what you have in mind. The abdomen needs to be suctioned conservatively and the flanks and bra rolls aggressively. This will allow plenty of fat for transfer and better define your waist without incurring additional skin issues with your stomach. A side view showing your current butt would be helpful in making an assessment.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

Answer: Can BBL performed without stomach lipo? Hello, good afternoon, thanks for your question, actually yes, but if you want better results even with the liposuction by itself, it will be better to perform abdominal lipo.

Answer: BBL Donor Sites The number of donor sites is dependent upon the goals and the available fat within each donor site (i.e. 2 large donor sites may be better than 3 small sites). With regards to your specific question, how many sites to treat will depend upon the degree of volumization you are seeking as well as the volume available in each site. Large volume liposuction has grown in popularity as a component of BBL, patients should remember it is not a weight loss procedure and is best performed on patients who are at or near their target weight. A BMI of less than 30 is recommended as it imparts a lower overall risk profile. Common target areas include: Abdomen/Flanks (“love handles”)Hips/Thighs/LegsUpper armsBackButtocksWith regards to your specific question, it is difficult to make predictions on liters of fat harvested as this is not an exact science. In the setting of BBL, we know that there will be some donor fat loss (as high as 50% but typically 30%). For this reason, I typically set a goal of at 500 cc per cheek (depending on patient goals). This would necessitate a harvest of at least 1 liter (some is lost in processing). If I do not believe this to be possible, I will encourage patients to consider other options or temper their expectations.Based upon your photos, you appear to be a reasonable candidate for surgery. The outcome is donor site dependent. While many patients have excess in the abdominal region, this may not be true for everyone. The sites harvested will vary from patient to patient. If you choose not to harvest from the abdomen, as long as you have alternative sites, the abdomen can be spared. As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).

Answer: Yes, a BBL can be performed using a different donor area than the abdomen. Thank you for your question and photo. While the abdomen is one of the most popular donor areas to use during a fat grafting buttock enhancement procedure, it is not usually the only option. You may be able to use only the fat from your back and flanks, but this will also limit your results. When done properly, liposuction of the abdomen shouldn’t produce lumps or bulges. Visit a board-certified plastic surgeon for the best recommendation moving forward.

Answer: Can BBL performed without stomach lipo? Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Based on your photos you are a good candidate for a liposuction with bbl, and i think you'll get very good results. It's possible to have the BBL without taking fat out of the stomach. The fat transfer, often called Brazilian butt lift has become extremely popular because it allows your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. You improve your waist, hips and of course your buttock, to give you a beautiful heart shape. I recommend you to make an appointment with a board plastic surgeon for a good evaluation and to talk about your goals. Good luck :)
