I lost my left kidney .I’m healthy and have no issues with my other kidney.
Answer: CoolSculpting Yes, you most certainly can have a CoolSculpting treatment, if you are a candidate. The fat cells are metabolized by the liver and will not impact your kidney. Best of luck!

Answer: Coolsculpting with one kidney--Add Radiofrequency, Thermage, Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra, VASER, ThermiRF Yes, you can have Coolsculpting with one kidney, if you're a candidate. The fat cells that are destroyed during the procedure are metabolized by the liver and therefore, your kidney will be unaffected by CoolSculpting. For best results with Coolsculpting, a combination approach is needed. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. However, a Vaser with ThermiRF procedure is the best combination for a toned result, but requires more downtime. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: CoolSculpting: Will it affect the Kidneys This is a great question. Actually, the good new is that CoolSculpting will have no effects on the kidneys, as the dead cells will be filtered out by the liver. And, even though the fat cells will be removed by the liver, it happens at such a slow rate over a period of months, that no damage is possible to the liver as well. CoolSculpting is a remarkably safe and effective way to permanently remove fat cells from the body. Good luck with everything!
