Are all CoolSculpting machines the same?

Lots of places offering Coolsculpting in Toronto and those machines and places are not listed on Cool sculpting website.How do we know those machines give the same results? And how do we validate those providers if they are not listed on Coolsculpting wesite?

Any medical office using Coolsculpting technology by Zeltiq should be listed on the Coolsculpting website.  If they are not listed there, then I would not recommend you undergo the treatment at that clinic.  Best you seek an experienced provider who can share with you before and after pictures of their previous patients as well.Best of luck,Dr. Philip Solomon, Solomon Facial Plastic, Toronto, Canada

Do not trust a provider to give you CoolSculpting if they are not listed on the CoolSculpting website. Zeltiq, the inventor of CoolSculpting and its patented cryolipolysis technique, requires a rigorous training period for all of their practitioners. You must be certified by Zeltiq in order to practice CoolSculpting. 
Also please be aware that some unethical companies are pirating the CoolSculpting technology and manufacturing/selling knock-offs from Asia that have not been FDA approved, nor do they have evidence of good results. 
If you want to contour your body with CoolSculpting, please find a board-certified dermatologist who has been certified by Zeltiq to do so and offers you the original CoolSculpting-branded technology. You will be happy you did, as the results are quite beautiful.

First of all, you don’t know those machines will give the same results or that they are as safe as Coolsculpting. All legitimate Coolsculpting providers will be listed on the Coolsculpting site.  The practices you are referring to may claim they offer Coolsculpting but ZELTIQ has the only trademarked and patented machine for cryolipolysis.

Everyone that buys a CoolSculpting machine directly from the manufacturer will be listed on the CoolSculpting website. Those that claim to provide CoolSculpting but are not listed on the website are either using knock off Chinese imitation machines, or rent the machines from somewhere and most likely do not have the adequate training and experience to provide consistent results. We have our CoolSculpting validation and certification proudly on display in our practice. You can also call the company directly to confirm a practice. Proceed with caution. Hope this helps.

This is a very good question. Any CoolSculpting practice that is actually certified by the parent company Zeltiq, would be listed on their website. There are always those who purchase second hand equipment and have no certification. I would not trust them to make a permanent change in the shape of your body. The training and certification process that actual certified practices undergo is quite intensive and important. I would not trust anyone who has not been thoroughly trained and certified by Zeltiq.

There are definitely some Chinese knock-offs that are marketed.  You should only go to a center listed on the company website as they have the only proven and tested machine on the market.  Side effects from the fake machines can be significant so do not take the chance with your body.

Many thanks for your question. Please be aware that there are a lot of copy machines, made mainly in China, in the market. These machines have not undergone trials and so there is no data to show that they are safe or effective. Here in the UK, there has been a huge problem with these copy machines. These machines, have in numerous people, caused third degree freeze burns, since the skin has also been frozen by these copy machines. This has resulted in people having to have plastic surgery. 
Doctors who have the CoolSculpting machine are listed on the CoolSculpting website. You can also call the company for confirmation. 
Please do check out the clinic before proceeding and having a treatment.

Within the last year, there have been new and improved CoolSculpting machines. The treatment times are shorter and there are new devices to better fit different body types and body parts. At Cool and Fit in Atlanta, we have two of the latest machines, so we not only the latest and greatest but the most time efficient for our patients.

No not all coolsculpting machines are the same.  There are many knock off machines being used that are not certified by the company and the providers are not adequately trained.  Having said that, there are newer versions of the coolsculpting machine that take less time to treat an area.  In my experience the results are the same.
