Hello doctors! I have lots of questions. I've been researching for a long time and I'm finally ready to get breast and butt aug. I'm willing to travel to Miami or Atlanta. I'm currently in Texas so the Dallas or Houston areas are fine too. I'm looking to get this done during the winter, sometime around December or January I'm a thin woman, 22 y/o but curvy for a thin woman. If that makes any sense. I'm skinny but I have booty.. No boobs unfortunately lol. I'm an A.

Gummy Bear Breast Implants are classically anatomic (tear drop) and textured breast implants filled with cohesive silicone gel. They are fifth generation silicone breast implants, which are reliable and durable, and for the small chested patient who wants a natural shape may have some advantages, though they are expensive and require a larger incision. Choosing between shaped versus round implants can be decided upon in consultation. Widening the hips without a buttock augmentation can be performed with liposuction around the waist which can give the effect, and/or supplemental fat grafting in that area. All of these procedures can be performed during the same operation.

Thank you for your question and photos.  Without photos of you or an in-person consultation, it is very difficult to help you.  You need to be seen by a board certified plastic surgeon who is an expert in the procedures you are wanting to have done.  Both procedures are commonly performed together by surgeons who are experts in both procedures.  Please have realistic expectations though of what you should expect from surgery.  For example, the amount of fat that you have on your body will be a limitation to how much you can have removed and transferred to your buttocks, keeping in mind that you can lose up to about 30% of transferred fat.All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL

Hi,I prefer silicone gel implants behind the muscle for all my breast augmentations as the muscle provides support and helps keep the implant in place longer. The "look" you are going for is reasonable. However, without an idea of what your buttocks look like and the fact that you are slender makes me question if you are a suitable patient for fat transfer. You may need an implant to achieve your desired 'look' in the derierre area. I recommend Dr. Mendietta in Miami for the best possible result for your lower half. As for the type of implants, the silicone gel implants are going to be much better than the saline implants.  They last longer, are more natural, and are covered by a  good warranty.You could probably have the buttock area enlarged too, but this is going to depend on how much fat you have available to use and where that fat is located.Seek the opinions of a few board-certified plastic surgeons, as an exam is essential to see if your goals can be met !Best WishesDr LoMonaco

Thanks for your question. It's hard to tell your whether you have realistic expectations without seeing your photos. I have no doubt that you can have breast augmentation but the size would need to be determined in person. The buttock augmentation is much more difficult without seeing your original pictures. You may not have enough fat excess to allow for the retrieval from one site to augment another. Find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area who is an ASAPS member to help you with this. Thank you for your question and photos of your desired look.  A consultation would help narrow your options for you, but you can consider the following:1)  Breast: If you are 22, and your nipples are in a good position, then an augmentation would be a great option.  The shape and size you desire would depend on your body/breast dimensions and choosing the right style of implant.2)  Buttock:  If you have fat in areas that you wish could be contoured down, then you can use these areas as donor fat to help towards your buttock shape goals.  How far you get towards these goals would depend largely on what you are starting with.  If you want to further augment your buttock and don't have sufficient donor options, then you can add Sculptra to further enhance your results.You should be able to do the two procedures together.

I agree with previous answers that there is no shortage of excellent Board Certified Plastic Surgeons in Texas who should be able to answer all of your question about both your breasts and buttocks ( and I don't even practice in Texas.)  Many good surgeons offer free cosmetic consultations. Get some good recommendations, see a few surgeons, get your questions answered so that you are completely happy with your decision.  If you have a procedure, you will then be close enough to your surgeon for post operative visits and to take care of any problems or future needs that you will have.

Hi, Aivaye.  Thanks for your questions and photos.  There is no "best implant."  The implant has to be right for you.  All implants are safe and will give your fullness. Depending on what kind of feel and look you want, you should choose the implant type.  Based on your "wish" photos, you like round implants.  410 gummy bear implants will not give round, fullness on the superior pole of the breasts.Breast augmentation and butt augmentation get be done safely at the same time. My concern is whether you have enough fat for BBL if you are thin.  Please consult a board-certified plastic surgeon to be evaluated in-person.  Best wishes.

These operations are commonly combined, but it requires a formal consult to best determine which specific implant and technique in order to accomplish your goals. "Gummy bear" is kind of a general term but during your consultation you will typically be able to see/touch the different types of implants available. I hope this helps - good luck!

Texas has fantastic breast-focused surgeons so no need to go out of state for your surgery.  The first breast implant was placed right here, and the strong tradition continues to this day.The term 'gummy bear implant' is not technical, but it has value since it is now part of the vocabulary used by many prospective patients.  It usually refers to implants that are shaped (like a teardrop), have a textured ('not smooth) surface, and have a highly cohesive (thick) silicone gel that looks like the popular candy on the inside.It's not for every woman, but it's definitely a great implant with many pros (great shape, less likely to 'move' after surgery, lower capsular contracture rate) and some cons (longer incision required, obvious deformity when it does 'move' after surgery, costs more).Buttock shape depends on many factors, including the shape of your pelvic bones and gluteal muscles.  Fat alone will not magically change the shape of these structures.  Having said that, nice results are possible in many patients who have enough of a donor site (places to harvest fat from).
