How to fix a very bottom heavy nose? (Photos)

Question

I have had primary rhinoplasty it was a tip rotation (columella strut) and hump removal and I just had revision to fix my hanging columella and bottom heavy nose. I addressed this and how I didn’t like the caudal septum protruding so much. This is not my skin hanging this is all septum pushing down on my nose. He trimmed 2mm of septum and I am 2 weeks post op. I understand to wait but I can feel this isn’t going to improve much. What are my other options to shorten nose? Nasal spine trim?

Hello, thank you for question and provided photos, As you mentioned above with 2 weeks post-op you are in early healing process, you need to wait at least one year before any intervention and as you are a revision case your healing might be longer. As you are healing, as a part of it you have edema and  swelling. After completing your period and if the result is not successful you can go under a revision rhinoplasty.Best of Luck

At 2 week sit's way too early to evaluate your final result. The Surgeon must be very cautious with shortening and not be too aggressive because he/she may over shorten the nose. Give it time and re-evaluate to determine if any further action is required

Unfortunately At 2 week it's far to early to properly evaluate the final result. Give it time and about another 6 weeks.
