I got a weir excision 2 months ago with 3 mm taken from each side but I see no difference. I only saw a difference was during the second week where it looked a bit smaller. I spoke to a different doctor about it and they told me that if sutures are not put in permanently it will revert back to its original size. Is this true? If before and after pictures are taken and it shows there is no difference can it be expected that I would get a significantly reduced rate to get it performed again?
