Breast lift... cookie cutter?

Hi Tinylil Dancer.  The cookie cutter instrument assists the surgeon in ensuring the areola sizes remain closer to each other and proportionate to your new breast volume & shape. There are techniques to lift breasts that don't require the anchor scars-consider another opinion. I'm sure if you speak to your plastic surgeons, they can help ensure a size and contour you will be pleased with.  Good luck!

Your nipple doesn't have to be reduced at all in a breast lift.  Discuss the size you would like with your surgeon because size is YOUR option.  Keep in mind, there is no way to raise the nipple or to do an effective lift without an incision around the nipple... so it always has "the look".  As the incision fades, this becomes less noticeable.  Most of my patients do want the areola reduced and rounded due to stretching and distortion caused by pregnancy or very often, they grew that way.
