Do you always bleed when using a .5 mm dermaroller?

This is my first time using this length. I was using a .25 mm. I rolled 4 times in each direction and was barely even red afterwards. I didn't bleed at all. How much pressure should I apply to see results and do people usually bleed when using this length roller? When can I roll again because I don't know if it did any good...thanks.
