I am currently 9 days post op and it's been really itchy inside my nose. Is this normal and how do I deal with it?

Hello imnosey, Thank you for your question.Without examining you, physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history, and discussing the pros and cons of any further treatments it is difficult to be comprehensive.After rhinoplasty the nerves within the nose can be excitable. Incisions were made on the inside of the nose and the healing process can involve itchiness. Also dryness to the lining of the nose can manifest as itchiness. Discuss with your surgeon regarding the use of saline nasal spray to help moisten the nose. Best of Luck, DrS
