Question on implant size options

Hi. I am a 38 year old transgender woman had silicone low profile breast implants at 600cc each above the muscle in early 2023 They are 17.0cm wide. I went with the wide low profile implants above the muscle due to my surgeon's recommendation since I have a wide chest and measurements showed that that I needed that width to mostly fill the space. Are there at least moderate profile breast implants that are about 17cm wide that I could get so I keep the width too above the muscle?

In your photograph, your breasts are wider than the chest wall and the breasts are touching in the midline. The width is too great already so you do not need wide implants. You need smaller and more narrow implants. You also need a breast lift.

Thank you for that great question! Dr. Ruter here from Syracuse Plastic Surgery in Syracuse NY. The 3 implant manufacturers currently top out around 800cc for implant volume. Since volume is a product of width and height, as the width and height increase, volume increases. For instance, Mentor's moderate plus largest base width is 15.7 for their Xtra and 15.6 for their Boost line. Implant manufacturers are capable of making custom breast implants. That may be a route to investigate with your plastic surgeon.

Whenever excessively large implants are used the chance of undesirable side effects, complication rates, and need for revision and surgery will go up.
Going bigger than what you currently have is going to increase all of these issues.
Without the pectoralis muscle supporting the implant, the skin envelope is likely to stretch overtime.
