I had a breast augmentation with lift a month ago and I knew immediately upon seeing my results that I was unhappy. I had shared with the doctor my concerns and inclination to move forward without implants the day of the procedure but she said I would not have good results without implants and would be flat. Now I am trying to figure out how long I have to wait before removing them.
Answer: Undesirable results after breast augmentation I recommend waiting for a year because it takes time for the breasts to completely heal and the implants to settle. One month is not enough time to judge your results yet. You are still swollen and this is not your final outcome. Please be patient and decide after at least 6 months has passed from your surgery date. Best of luck to you

Answer: Implant removal Dear LNTX123, generally speaking, you should be able to remove implants anytime. However, it is probably best to wait until you are healed to see the final results. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Removal You were not happy with your breasts prior to implants and still may not be happy once removed. You might consider going down in size if they are too large. The implants have thinned your own tissue some and have stretched skin. Also, your tissue needs time to heal from the first surgery before doing a second. I would suggest waiting at least 3 months before removal or exchange. Please talk to your surgeon.

Answer: Implant removal You could remove them now. This might impact the lift though - depending on how big the implants are a lift revision might be necessary. That revision would have to wait though. I would likely encourage you to wait a few months to make sure you don’t want the implants but if your mind is set an implant removal is pretty straight forward. Sometimes we even do them under local anesthesia.
