in case of implants rupture, it is recommended to remove it as soon as possible in order to prevent further complications. There is no “emergency@to remove your implants. However, removal in a elective manner will be needed as the silicone can continue to cause issues with the breast. I would schedule in the next few weeks. Choose saline implants is you want a less worrisome surveillance scenario moving forward. Thank you.

Your surgeon will advise you to replace these implants. You do not have to be "deathly afraid" and your lymph nodes will just be doing their job if any escaped gel comes their way.

When an implant is ruptured it is best to have the implant and capsule removed as soon as it is reasonably possible. This gives you the best chance to prevent the contents from further migration. I've included a video that I hope you find helpful.

Plenty of women have had ruptured implants for years without having them removed.
Usually, if we have clear documentation or indication then it should be scheduled as a standard elective procedure.There can be both false positive and false negative radiographic studies. An MRI is usually the most accurate.
I suggest you follow up with your provider or consult with plastic surgeons in your area to get an assessment.
