I’m 5’4” and 120 lbs. I think my surgeon said that I measured 11.5cm I tried on 275 moderate and 335 high I decided on the high but I honestly wasn’t sure. I just don’t know which one will fit me better. I have the idea in my head that the 335 are going to look like two big round balls and it makes me want to go with the moderate. Also, Left breast is noticeably bigger than the right but the surgeon didn’t say anything about putting in different sizes…? HELP
Answer: Implant selection I encourage you to return to your surgeon to discuss your concerns and look again at the implants. Many have sample implants you can "try on" to get an idea of how you may look after surgery. The higher profile implant obviously will give you more projection while the 275cc moderate will be more conservative.

Answer: Choosing the right size and profile breast implants for you After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants, if interested, and they choose what looks right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Sometimes putting more on the shorter tighter side exagerates the upper pole fullness on that side. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author. Answer: 5'4, 120 lbs- Is 335 cc high profile right for me? Hello @Ann_31 Thank you for your question and showing your pictures! The look of implants is not just about size, but also how you want to achieve a natural result. The type of breast implant can be selected taking into consideration the shape of the breast that the patient wants and the breast form each patient has. It is vital to make an assessment to consider other factors that also need to be considered when deciding the size of the implant so that they can be determined in a personal and accurate manner, not only the size, but also the volume, location and type of implant. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS

Answer: How to find the best implant for you Implant selection can be very difficult. The implants might look good in your hand, but the question is how will they look inside you. I believe that the best answer is to first see how much volume you would like. This can be accomplished by using implants in a bra, or preferably, implant sizers. Then I typically use a three dimensional photographic system that can demonstrate how specific implants could look inside you. These systems are quite sophisticated and can address existing breast asymmetries. By taking this approach, the decision is yours, and you can see what specific implants can do for you.

Answer: Implant size Dear whit13l, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.
