Can I get a nose job and fix my side profile but keep my front profile looking the same?

I like my front profile but I would like to make my nose smaller, less narrow, and have more of a slope. I would like recommendations of how to make my side profile more “attractive” aswell.

Your question has a long answer.  The short answer is that you can address your profile without changing the appearance of your nose on frontal view to any significant degree.  When you see a rhinopasty surgeon they will help you to understand the process in more detail.

So, essentially, we can adjust the nose from the front or side to your specficiations. I'd recommend smoothing out the side with a more gentle slope and reducing the size of the nostrils.

Thank you for your question. You are an excellent candidate for rhinoplasty. I think it is one of the most beautifying surgeries that we do as plastic surgeons.  In your case, I would also consider a small chin implant.  A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. It is important to only see plastic surgeons with extensive experience in rhinoplasty, ie perform at least 6 per month and have performed hundreds of cases. Also, critically evaluate on-line galleries to see if their art form resonates with yours. Rhinoplasty is definitely a grey haired plastic surgeon's sport. Best wishes to you.

You have a large hump that needs to be removed. That means you will also need your bones narrowed. I don’t think you need to worry about how it will look from the front.  When done well your nose will look very nice and natural

Hello! Thank you for your question. From the photos you provided I can say that your chin is very behind according to your face and your nose have a strong hump. This things cause unbalanced looking for your side face. With rhinoplasty and chin implant your side image can be improved. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Changing the side profile without changing the front view: in most rhinoplasties the side profile is changed significantly more than the front view. Those patients who have issues with their side profile and are relatively satisfied with their front view are for the most part the most suited for rhinoplasty and usually are the most satisfied postop. This is because the surgeon has more control over the profile then over the front view, And because the issues that affect the profile for the most part are more correctable than those that affect the front view. It is difficult to assess your own profile since the images you sent are not true “profile“ views. they appear to be selfies which are taken from a distorted angle. This prevents an accurate assessment of your profile. If you wish to submit better profile photos, it is better to have someone else take the views from approximately 3 feet away with you facing 90° away from the camera.

The nose is a three-dimensional structure, and rhinoplasty is performed in all three dimensions, so you're going to get changes from both the side and the front profile. A closed rhinoplasty approach can accomplish narrowing your bridge line, refining the nasal tip, giving you more of a slope from the side profile, and reducing the significant hanging columella. All the incisions are placed on the inside of the nose. No external incisions are required, and no painful packing is required either. Digital computer imaging of your nose upon your facial features from both side and the front views would be helpful to understand what can be accomplished with your nose upon your facial features.
