Could I have deformed the cartilage or caused bone growth after applying pressure?

Hello, I hit my nose years ago and since then is my nose hump more prominent, i recently tried to push it back with my hands and the area got red, now I see the hump is even more rounder and bigger, it has been a month since incident and the area still looks the same, could i have deformed the cartilage or cause some bone growth? How is it possible that by applying pressure to my nose is now bigger in size?

Hello! Thank you for your question. From the question you asked if you get that damage right after your surgery it can cause many things. Without photos It would not be a proper evaluation. If you can provide photos from front of your face, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation. It might be a better to ask your surgeon about it. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best Regards!
