I rub my face after Botox injection. Should I be okay?

Hi, thank you for your question.I agree, a single rub to the forehead shouldn't change the result. The concern for rubbing is that the product is displaced inferiorly toward the lid elevator muscle. I tell my patients not to rub over their eyes right after Botox as this can theoretically spread the Botox and cause a lid droop. However, a massage of upper forehead should not matter nor should touching of the face or a couple of little rubs. No use worrying, just try to not rub over your eyes from now on. You will probably be just fine
