Can your body reject botox after long term use?

In my experience,  when Botox isn't lasting long enough, the dosing needs to be increased. There is sometimes a resistance that builds up, and I try switching to Dysport to see if this makes any difference. If it is the same in all your friends simultaneously,  then it's probably related to changes in dosing by your doctor or he/she is getting the Botox from a different or illegal source. Sometimes a very athletic person burns up the Botox quicker I've seen. 

There may be slight fluctuations in botox duration. Extremely active patients such as physical trainers or competitive weight lifters may find shorter duration. However, for the vast majority of the patients in a particular clinic is experiencing less than 3 months duration, then you may want to consider another experienced and expert physician injector.

Botox usually lasts between 3-4 months. I do see in some patients (especially personal trainers) that it may last a shorter period of time.

actually the product tends to last an average of about 3 months...of course everyone is different...and others impact on the duration of activity...like exercise...it would be good to have pictures to document the issue...next time before the botox...have someone (the doctor or a friend) take pictures and get follow up photos every month to establish a trend...memory just doesn't work as well as a series of pictures...good luck and keep up your botox...wouldn't hurt to try a different location if you're dissatisfied...
