My eyes are very droopy looking and I feel like I always look sad or tired. Is there any procedures/surgeries/Botox/fillers that will make them more upturned or more cat like. I love the "bed room" eye look which Megan Fox has. I hate the shape of my eyes help!!
Answer: Eye Shape Thank you for your question and photos! Depending on the degree and longevity of results you are looking for from a procedure, you have both surgical and non-surgical options. I recommend a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon that is willing to discuss all your options available to reach your specific goals. Best of luck! Answer: Surgical options for addressing downturned eyes Thank you for your photos and questions. First, it is important to recognize that the sad or tired look you are concerned about is not the result of any major abnormality, but rather an impression perceived as a result of several fairly subtle traits unique to your eyelids and face. Therefore, a careful in-person exam would be necessary to figure out the best approach for you. There are several ways to bring you closer to the look you want to achieve, including elevating the brow tail to give you a fuller, more youthful lateral orbital rim, a canthopexy vs. canthoplatsy to give you a sharper angle at the outer corner of your eye, as well as possibly a lower eyelid tightening procedure and cheek lift if necessary. Upper eyelid blepharoplasty can also help with asymmetry of the redundant upper eyelid skin. That being said, you would probably benefit from a stepwise approach rather than doing multiple procedures all at once. A good place to start might be Botox to the brow tails to see if that brings you closer to the look you want. I recommend seeing a board certified oculoplastic surgeon for an examination and consultation to help identify the highest yield items for you and start down a path to addressing them.

Answer: Improving the appearance of the downturned eye In general the outside corner of the eye should be 1-2 mm above the inner corner the eye. A canthopexy procedure would be the ideal choice for achieving this result. However, it typically appears more balanced when combine with a endoscopic brow-lift and possibly a midface lift. This will make the cheek, eye and brow in a more ideal position that is well balanced.
