Can a new tissue glue be used to correct the open space evident in a pollybeak deformity?

The WYSS Institute of Harvard has come up with a new natural glue capable of closing even large wounds. The glue uses chitosan and transglutaminase. I'm wondering if this glue might have promise in correcting a deformity like pollybeak.
