Bruising after Botox at the injection site is not uncommon. However, these bruises generally resolve themselves within 1-2 weeks. Taking blood thinners, such as Advil or Aspirin, can lengthen the duration of this bruising.If you have concerns about the duration of this side effect, I would recommend scheduling a follow up with your injector. Bruising rarely persists after 2 weeks so this is not usual. You should go back to your injector to try to figure out what you are seeing. In some patients Botox can cause a little fluid to collect in the undereye area and this resolves once the Botox wears off. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Bruises near the eyes after botox can last longer than one would imagine. This is due to the natural hollows in the eyes. The blue really hangs on. You didn't post any photos, so it is hard to say.
