Many ENT surgeons are very comfortable with Botox injections. As long as they are board-certified and perform the treatment regularly, it shouldn't typically be an issue. My only recommendation is to see someone who performs many Botox injections, not just occasionally, as this is likely to get you the best results. All the best,
I am glad you are asking this question; it shows that you are being cautious about who does your injections and this is the best way of getting a good result. An ENT with experience in botox or dysport should be able to perform the treatment for you. That said, there are many providers, including nurses and physicians, and even aestheticians, that are jumping into the aesthetic space. They take a weekend course and then start performing Botox. The four aesthetic core specialties are: Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Facial plastics, and Oculoplastics. Providers in the core will typically have thousands more hours and procedures under their belts. It makes sense to go to a core physician for your treatment.
Almost all facial plastic surgeons are ENT trained, so if your ENT has extensive experience with Botox, I'm sure you are in good hands. ENT are surgical specialists of the face and neck, so we know the anatomy quite well. Many specialize in aesthetic medicine. Just make sure the ENT has experience.Andrew Campbell, M.D.Facial Rejuvenation SpecialistQuintessa Aesthetic Centers
I recommend seeing a board-certified Doctor who is an expert in Botox injections. It will take 1-2 weeks for final results with Botox. Best, Dr. Emer
If your ENT does it regularly, and gets consistently good results, it should be fine. In fact, ENTs have been using Botox prior to its use in the cosmetic arena. Good luck!
It is important to visit a physician who is familiar with facial anatomy and has the appropriate training and experience to perform Botox injections. You should be fine with a board certified ENT physician who is also well versed in facial anatomy.
It all depends on your doctor's training and experience and your level of comfort with your physician.
Sincerely, it all comes to how much experience and expertise of the injector. There are people that specialize on injecting Botox and Fillers and do a great job. I have seen also dentists injecting botox and I can’t have an opinion on their work. The whole point is to check the reviews and before and after pictures to judge the quality of their work.
ENT doctors are considered part of the core physicians doing cosmetic treatments so if he is board certified and experienced there should be no problem. i refer you to my most recent book SkinScam
Go to a physician that does a lot of Botox injections. Don't just look at specialty but also their before/after photos and the number of treatments they have done. It is also important that your injector listens to you and that you are both in agreement on the look you are going for.
Glutathione is a powerful and very beneficial antioxidant and there are no contraindications for oral ingestion after fillers and Botox. Laser hair removal on the face may be done every 4 to 6 weeks. I suggest that you wait at least 48 to 72 hours before or after a treatment to have a facial.
Ptosis after botox injection in the forehead is a well know though rare complication of injection in of neuromodulators in the forehead. In the picture you sent it seems your Doctor did everything right but it is possible that your Botox migrated or your anatomy is little different. I would not...
Hi smorgasvein,Typically, we use about 25 units of Botox per side for masseter hypertrophy. And if your muscle is too strong (it had all these years to be so), the effects will take longer and may be repeated 2-3 times and maintained thereafter.Another thing, when we take selfies, there is some ...
