I had my lift in August and went from a E to DD.my surgeon said that my breast are big enough and he doesn't know if an implant would fit with all of my breast tissue.they are a nice size but I like the big and round firm look. Can I still get implants and how long do I wait???
Answer: Waiting to get implants after breast lift Thank you for the question. It would be advisable to wait around 4-6 months after the surgery before placing implants. By this time your wounds would have healed already. Best to contact your board-certified plastic surgeon and ask for his or her advice for the matter. Best of luck Dr. Michael Omidi

Answer: Implants after a breast lift I would wait at least 3-6 months as you still have a fair amount of swelling. It is important to let the wounds heal and let the breasts settle. It may be that you find you are comfortable with your size and shape in the next several months and decide not to have an implant after all.
