Last period over three years ago- post menopause now. Chances of breasts growing back after BR? Should i stop taking Femarelle ( bio identical HRT) incase it makes my breasts grow!

Thank you for your question which is very common. The only time I have seen this is when patients go through the menopause. Assuming that you have now reached that stage then regrowth of breast tissue will be highly unusual.

Before undergoing the BR, did your internist or OB/GYN evaluate your hormone levels?  Discuss your concerns with them now that you are several months post BR, so they can determine whether you should continue taking Femarelle.

It is unusual for breasts to grow back after a breast reduction presuming you do not increase weight, do not have hormonal imbalance, have no med conditions and not on certain meds. Ask your PS about stopping the Femarelle.

In your age range I doubt your breasts would grow back after a breast reduction, even on hormone replacement therapy.  This is more of a problem in the 16-30 age range because there is more weight fluctuation and hormonal changes.
