I'm in my early twenties and have always been very self conscious about my breasts. Their shape and position on my chest just seem odd to me and the areolas are very big. After some research I found out that it might be a tubular breast and like to know if that's the case.

Answer: Constricted or tubular breast can be corrected with breast augmentation. The photograph demonstrates slight constriction of the breast. If breast augmentation is desired sub glandular placement of the prosthesis and release of the base of the breast which allows the breast to some the diameter of the implant will nicely correct the situation.

Answer: No tuberous breasts in your situation but more a variant of ptosis and large areolas. There are procedures you can consider to change them more towards what you may desire but this would come at costs, risks, the acceptance of scars, and the potential diminishment of your ability to breast feed. Life is about living so choose what is best for you.
