While I was a teen I was told that I had sagging, tuberous breasts that are widely spaced, high breast fold, constricted tissue, and large areoles and was recommended to wait until I was older and lost weight before seeking surgery. I know that different doctors/cities charge accordingly but now that I'm ready to seriously get my breasts fixed, I would like to have a rough estimate of how much money I should have saved before approaching a plastic surgeon.
Answer: Surgery for Tuberous breast and cost Thank you so much for sharing your story. I understand the desire to have a rough estimate in your mind before approaching a plastic surgeon, however – a lot of board certified plastic surgeons offer free consultations in order to be evaluated for situations just like yours! Many people want to know the bottom line before making a commitment to surgery. Because patients can vary so dramatically in what their particular surgery needs are, their pricing and personalized surgical fees will differ significantly. I recommend you follow up with a very experienced board certified plastic surgeon who could evaluate you and discuss all of your surgical options. There is even a technology device called Vectra 3D that can take your picture and simulate your post operative results. That means that you can see what you would like after surgery….before it even happens! Look into this technology and hopefully it will help you overcome any hesitancy you have about seeking an in person evaluation. Good luck

Answer: Cost of Mini Ultimate Breast Lift(TM) I recommend a new technique called The Mini Ultimate Breast LiftTM for saggy tuberous breasts.Using only a circumareola incision it is possible to reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. This technique avoids the ugly vertical scars of the traditional technique, maintains nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed. The cost for The Mini Ultimate Breast LiftTM is $10,000, with implants $11,500.Implants are only needed if you want to increase your bra size. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Asym Without photos or an exam it is difficult to predict the extent of surgery you will need. A breast augmentation runs 4000-6000.00. You could need a breast lift if your breast are sagging and the areola size needs to be smaller which can be roughly 7000.00-9500.00.Best of luck,

Answer: Breast Augmentation/lift cost breakdown. The prices of Breast Augmentation, Lift, or full mommy make overs as well as revisions can vary widely from city to city. For example, a breast augmentation can cost 3-4 times in LA and New York what it costs in Montana. In looking at the a price quote for breast augmentation, you should consider many variables. 1. The Surgeon's Fee. This can vary widely depending on the experience and results and thus demand for that surgeon. This also sometimes depends on technique. For example, a sub-muscular placement of an implant is much faster and thus takes less work for the surgeon than a sub-fascial placement of the implant that takes twice as long.2. The Implant. The breast implant price depends on using a saline, memory gel, or highly cohesive (gummybear) implants. Usually saline implants cost about $1,000 for a pair, memory gel $2,000, and highly cohesive $3,000. If fat is used instead of an implant, then usually a fat harvest charge is used instead of implant fee as liposuction supplies are used and the fat purified in a variety of methods. The size of the implant does not matter, only the type of implant. If a dermal matrix is needed then there is an additional charge (usually about $1,000). In revisions, often the same implant can be used which saves on the implant costs. If a breast lift alone is performed, then obviously there is no implant cost.3. Anesthesia. This can vary as well. If a board certified anesthesiologist is used then the price is higher. If a CRNA (nurse anesthetist) then the price is lower. It is even lower when a doctor just uses a non-certified anesthetist nurse, or just a medical assistant to push the anesthetic drugs (yes, this actually does happen).4. Facility Fee. This can vary if the surgeon is using a certified surgery center or hospital vs. his non-certified office. These four components make the total price, so it is best to break these down so the patient knows exactly what she is getting.Realself has an average cost for each city.Best wishes,Pablo Prichard, MD
