Can I get a little face lift by injecting Botox in the hairline and arround the face ( edges )..I do not like the appearance of Botox in the midd face .. I do not have forehead wrinkles.. I am 40..I had a bad experience with botox injections around the eyes .
Answer: How to lift the face without surgery: Know your options Hello, and thank you for your question. As a neuromodulator, Botox works by relaxing muscles to smooth out lines and wrinkles. While injecting it in the brow area can create a subtle lift, Botox does not have the ability to pull or stretch the skin to mimic the results that a facelift can provide. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can recommend the best procedure or combination of procedures for you. There are plenty of non-surgical skin-rejuvenating procedure options you can consider. You may combine Botox with dermal fillers to refresh your appearance – you get the wrinkle-smoothing effects from Botox and the volumizing and contouring effects from fillers. There is also the PDO threadlift (uses dissolvable sutures to lift tissue and tighten skin for a noticeably younger appearance), or RF microneedling (Profound RF or Virtue RF) that combines the rejuvenating benefits of microneedling with the stimulation of radiofrequency (RF) energy to renew the skin from the inside out. A combination of procedures can offer optimum results as well. The best way to determine the best approach to achieving your goals would be to schedule an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon. Your surgeon can assess your skin, customize the best treatment plan, and ensure the best possible outcome.

Answer: Botox Hello and thank you for your question. It is always best to see you face to face for a consult and examination however in this case it's unlikely that botox injected high in the forehead will make a positive difference - botox is a muscle relaxant so will not replicate what can be achieved by a non-surgical lift using energy based devices or filler. I hope that helps answer your question. Always seek an experienced and qualified medical professional for these treatments. Very best wishes

Answer: Botox Botox does not produce a facelift effect. When used around the eyes there many patients enjoy a conservative brow lift result. Fillers, Silhouette InstaLift, and Sculptra are some tools that can produce more of a facelift result.

Answer: Botox for face lift It is very important that the provider you choose understands the function of the muscles and if you paralyze them what the outcome will look like. To answer your question, you will not be able to properly achieve a "lift" by injecting the frontalis muscle along the hair line. The frontalis muscle's main function is to elevate the eyebrows. If you inject it with toxin, you are paralyzing the muscle so that the frontalis muscle will drop down. There is a very small function where the muscle has a depressor action but that area on the muscle is different on everyone and you would need to be evaluated. However, know that it is always easier to drop something down that to lift something up. One benefit of injecting the hairline is to suppress sweating around the hairline and your blow outs will last longer. Another option to give your forehead a lift is to look for a provider that does PDO lifting threads. This would be a better option and sounds more like the outcome you are looking for. Good luck!
